About Dr. Ting
Your Doctor
Dr. Robert Ting’s path to family medicine began in Niles, Ohio, where he was inspired to follow in his father’s footsteps. After completing his undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University and Miami University, then medical school at the Medical College of Ohio he felt a strong calling to the West. This led him to a rural family medicine residency in Idaho at Idaho State University Family Practice Residency. Since then, he has never looked back, establishing a deep-rooted practice in Moscow, Idaho, in August 1998.
For 20 years, Dr. Ting provided full-spectrum family medicine, including high-risk obstetrics, and has since transitioned to focusing on outpatient care. Now in his 28th year of practice, he is launching a direct primary care model to offer more personalized care and spend quality time with his patients, a mission he believes is critical in today’s healthcare system.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ting is a dedicated father of six. He embraces the Idaho lifestyle, enjoying fly fishing, rafting, paddleboarding, and foraging for wild mushrooms. A passionate hockey player and coach for two decades, he also loves snowboarding, ping pong, tennis, and golf.
